The Guardian reported that this year more of you than ever before interrupted your Christmas day to do some online shopping and that the quietest time was between 2pm and 4pm when most people sat down for dinner! Surprisingly many of you started your sale shopping at 5pm on Christmas Eve. Wow!
Some of the big retailers reported that starting their sales early meant that Boxing Day was less busy online however the stores still experienced a footfall frenzy. Were you one of the early risers who snapped up some of this years biggest bargains?
Selfridges celebrated their most profitable hour in their 100 year history, taking just over £2million by 10am with 130,000 people going into their Oxford Street store alone.
